Proitzer Mühle Tango Lab

After being now several times member of the teaching crew in the "Tango-Mango" and "Tangotangk" in England and always enjoying that so much, I thought it is high time to organize something similar in Germany.

So here we are: the Tango Mango-Baby is called "Tango-lab"

What's so special about that?

Instead of just having the whole day filled with tangolessons the focus here lies on dancing, dancing and dancing...It is no problem if you don't want to participate on the training as you can choose your single- and group lessons.
Hint: Private Lessons are almost always overbooked very early because of the special flair.

Instead of teaching in some backyard's room all the private lessons will be in the middle of the dancefloor. This results in a very relaxed athomsphere and is exciting to even just watch. The rest of you will have enough time to try and practice. You'll get the opportunity to discuss your experiences and try everything out.
Afterwards there will be a short break for lunch. Everyone who has been to the PM already will know: lunch is definitively worth a break. ;)
You can instantly go back dancing if you like or have a nap and join relaxed in the early afternoon.

The afternoon is dominated by different musical focusses. Classical to no-Tango and Tango nuevo - depends on one of our 6 DJ's!!!

The early evening will provide interesting theme-courses.

Afterwards we will have dinner and finally we will have a very nice dance evening - open end.

10 Days Training and Dance Events in the late evening - open end. There will be special bodywork available for dancers, massages, excellent food and 5 DJs. The dancefloor is more than 260 square metres and has a swinging floor. It is part of a romantic watermill in northern Germany.

You can book low-priced private lessons at our team which consists of experienced and famous teachers from Argentina, Germany, Italy Hungaria, the Netherlands and England. All group-lessons are being held bilingual (GER/ENG).

You can book single-lessons in advance (recommended), right on arrival or just join us for dancing.

You will get special prices if you help tidying up or wash the dishes (there's a dishwasher!).

You won't need to sign in with a partner, but I will take care of a gender balance to have more fun at the milongas.
to make sure you have a partner to will like to take lessons with, sign in for our Dance partner Forum and make up contacts there.

The Proitzer Muehle provides a Sauna and has bikes for rent. You can have a walk in the wonderful surroundings or have small trips to the idyllic villages nearby. Trips to Ülzen and its famous Station by Friedrich Hundertwasser are always very nice to do. Or you visit Salzwedel's renovated historic district with its half-timbered buildings.

If you prefer a more comfortable room with its own bathroom you will have to book very early.
Lessons can be booked afterwards. We are still working on the schedules yet.
We can also provide you very cheap stays if you participate on kitchen-duties. Everyone will have a turn once, probably. Working/helping in the kitchen means washing dishes with a professional dishwasher and help cleaning vegetables or such. This has always proven very funny and the participants enjoyed it.

5 Nights with full board (Breakfast, Lunch, Coffee & Cake, Dinner and Saturday evening Buffet) per Person:

The more comfortable rooms will be given away according to the chronology of bookings
Single Rooms (only 2 available directlyat the venue, but more in the village nearby) € 540,-

It is possible to stay for the weekend only, but those who stay the whole 6 days will have priority when giving away the "better" rooms.

Prices for Accomodation and full boarding can be lowered by signing up for kitchen-services. You get 5 EUR rebate per kitchen-service, which will be settled with your payment before you leave.

Price for 7 days and full board 1.- 8. (Sun - Sun): also possible 30.1. - 6.2. (Fr -Fr)

7 Nights with full board (Breakfast, Lunch, Coffee & Cake, Dinner) per Person:

Single Rooms (only 2 available directlyat the venue, but more in the village nearby) € 425,-

Comfort-Rooms with own bathroom will be given away to full-week customers first. From 15th of december we will give comfort rooms as well to z.days guests.

Prices for only a single day or evening:

If you plan to visit a single evening or Danceevent/Practise: Fee is 3 EUR per Person per Practise or Milonga. Practise starts in the morning and afternoon. So a whole day incl. Milonga and Practise would be 9 EUR. Please leave the fee in the basket located at the DJ's table.
